We don't run a formal returns programme – each collection is small-batch and meant as a keepsake. If anything's wrong with your order, email hello@cardchef.com and we'll make it right. (UK and EU customers retain their standard 14-day right to return unused items.)

Serving up answers, one question at a time.

Five things: ten recipe cards wrapped in vellum, a printed collection menu, an original art print and accompanying guide, a personal letter from me, and a certificate of authenticity.

A one-off. Each collection is a single purchase – buy the ones you like and skip the rest. Nothing renews, nothing arrives automatically.

We try to get one out every three seasons, with plans to move to one a season as we grow. Each is built around a single theme and reflects the season it lands in. The current collection is Everyday Chicken (Spring 2026); the next is Complete Pastas (Winter 2026).

In numbered batches, each one signed and certified for quality and authenticity. We do reprint, but never on a predictable schedule – so if a collection is one you'd want, it's safer to pick it up while it's in stock than to wait.

They're printed on 250gsm Perlino cotton paper – proper, textured stock that feels like a kitchen heirloom rather than something disposable. They handle counter life and the occasional splash, but they're not laminated. We chose texture and feel over plastic-coated durability – they're meant to be treated with the same care you'd give a fine cookbook.
